Will others say you treated the Bible like it was the very Words of God? Will they say it affected the way you lived and loved others? Today at Restart we celebrate Memorial Day as people determined to be remembered for our love of the Word of God.
Philip Klevmoen joins Pastor Bob in the Pulpit to emphasize what the Word of God means to him, and then what all Believers – by extension – should remember about the dire straights of the lost. Our daily goal ought to be that one soul might be spared the Lake of Fire; that you and I might reach out each and every day; that we might love the Word of God sufficiently to profess the Name of Jesus openly and actively to those among whom we find ourselves. Listen to his powerful testimony and join in on a challenge he made to the Restart home Church and eFamily:
- He asks we buy 40 car magnets (with Jesus’ Name or the 10 commandments on them) for $50. The challenge for us then, is to give all 40 of them away in one month – as gifts to complete strangers. Then he and his fine Bride Susie, will match each $50 purchase with $50 of their own. All proceeds will then be gifted to the Restart Church Benevolence Fund – helping those in need in our Community. Very cool, huh?
Contact Pastor Bob at this link to join the Challenge!
Pastor Bob then stands in to ask what you and I will be remembered for on future Memorial Days – when others consider our lives. We need to live determined to love of the Word of God – that our current efforts are often well depicted as dry bones (Ezekiel 37:1-14) . You and I need the breath of God to breathe life into our tired, dry bones. That although we should be an exceedingly great army, we walk about slain and wounded. Tune in, won’t you?
May the Lord Bless You as You Go!
